WPC Wall Cladding 156 x 21 mm (1.86 kg/m) is a board that takes lightness as far as it will go. Cladding works in a completely different direction to decking: it hangs on a wall, and weight brings it nothing but trouble. So this board is made as a thin-wall hollow section - 1.86 kg per meter, less than half the 4.02 kg/m that the same size would weigh in solid WPC, a saving of 54%. And afterwards there is no heavy board dragging on its fixings, sagging or working loose. At 156 mm the face is an efficient covering width - wider than the usual 140 mm and 150 mm, so you use fewer boards and fewer joints and the wall reads as one continuous surface. The 21 mm thickness keeps each board stiff and the joints flat, with no bowing or sagging between fixings.

WPC cladding goes straight over existing tiles or painted render: no strip-out, no strengthening of the wall. Fit the battens, hang the boards, and an old wall is transformed in two or three days. The material itself takes in no water, so it will not rot, split, host insects or grow mould; it never needs paint or wax; and a UV-stabilised formula keeps the colour from bleaching year after year. The board is a thin-wall hollow section weighing around half what a solid board would, so one person can lift it into position and fix it, battens do not need closing up, the wall needs no strengthening and working at height is safer. The hollow chambers add two bonuses - thermal insulation and sound insulation. It works on building facades, balcony and terrace walls, shopfronts and sign backing boards, boxing in columns and services, and as a decorative finish on garden boundary walls; it also suits semi-outdoor spaces such as sunrooms and verandas. Board widths run mainly from 140 to 156 mm, and the wider the face the fewer the joints, so the wall reads as one continuous surface.
